After our Safari in Albertina at the Game Lodge, we drove to Langebaan, South Africa, a well-known kite surf destination recommended by my parents.
Checking Windfinder, I started to get excited. Conditions are looking great for the coming day. I rented a kite and a board at Windtown because I left my own kites at home this time. They were super friendly and provided me with brand new Duotone (former North Kiteboarding) gear. I also signed up for a kite surfing insurance with VWDS in case I destroy or lose any of the rental equipment.
My personal highlight was the cute seal swimming around me and looking at me a bit like the one in this image. It was swimming on its back, taking a long stare at me like it wanted to say: what are you doing here?

The water is chilly and gets choppy as the tide rises. The wind blows strong and constant, making it fun to go on the water, do some tricks and ride with the seals.
